Years ago I gave up dating after finding that no man in the city of San Diego seemed to be right for me. I had some very exciting years back then when I was young and at some point I had wanted to settle down and start to make a steady life for myself but when I tried finding any men that wanted the same thing it was impossible. Still I kept at it for a few years but every man that I went out with wanted the same thing, fun, sex and good times. It was the eighties and notexactlya time for settling down so instead I began to dedicate myself fully to my career and completely quit the dating and night scene.

I am now over 40 years old and thinking that the time has come to give romance just one more try. I have had a great time working and getting as far up in my company as I am going to get and I now have the time needed to dedicate to a relationship. Immediately what came to mind for me is online dating, I have never joined an online dating site and would like to see what all the excitement is about. I see so many advertisements and at home in the evening thetelevisionis bombarded withcommercialsfor online dating sites. I think it sounds prettyexcitingand for someone who has not been in the dating scene for so long it might be the easiest way to get back into it.

I can't wait to get the time to do dome research on the most popular sites, I only plan on joining one online dating site but I am going to make sure its the best one. I don't want to be having to check too many sites or too many emails so I will keep it nice and simple. I just hope I am not too old, mostadvertisementsI see who very young couples and I hope this is not what all their members are that young. I need a man my age or even a bit older, Idon'tcare if he's gone a bit soft in the middle or is half balding, as long as he is a gentleman who is ready to settle down. Hopefully times have changed enough in all this time for men to be ready for that, if not I guess it may mean dating hibernation for me all over again.
