My Adult Opinion

My boyfriend Mark and I met six months ago on an online dating site that we had both joined when they were running a big holiday three day promotion. This had been the first time for both of us, he had though about joining an online dating site but it had never even crossed my mind before. Then that fateful weekend one of the bars in the village had a promoter there promoting the freecommunicationweekend, and that is the funny thing about it all. Later on once we met we figured out that we were both in the bar at the same time and yet it took us having to join the online dating site to meet each other. If we end up together it sure is going to be a funny story to tell the grand kids, but that goes to show us all how fate works in mysterious ways.

So I think that I may just be falling in love with Mark and it's a scary yet wonderful feeling for me. I have never had a serious boyfriend before, I only dated every now and again but no one that was really special. So since I have never really been part of a couple it's been a really wonderful six months for me, we do everything together and for the first time ever I feel special and wanted and now I look forward to little things like going home and watching TV because I know that he is going to be there with me.

So how do I know if Mark is really my first love or maybe even my soul mate? I don't know and that's why I won't say anything to him about it, I don't even know what his reaction is going to be. I don't want him to get scared away and think that I am already pushing marriage on him, I realize after all that we only met 6 months ago and on an online dating site so maybe it was not the most romantic of meetings. I guess I will have to wait it out and see it he tells me that he loves me, oh that would be such a wonderful feeling, to be told by him that he loves me. Well I had better calm down and stop over thinking things. It's best to let them happen on their own, but if he loves me I will be so happy!
